A low growing compact shrub, growing wider than tall; 0.4m tall x 0.8m wide in 10 years
Flowers: Trusses of 2-3 open funnel shaped flowers with distinctly wavy-edged lobes; 35-40mm long x 65-75mm wide, white with yellow green spotting on the upper lobes
Late May – early June
Not scented
Foliage: Leaves are ovate about 25-30mm long x 12-22mm wide; margins flat, matt mid green above
Other Information: Originally registered as ‘Maischnee’ by G Stuck in 2005 but to avoid issues with the registered trademark and the trade designation, the registration name was changed to ‘Hachmai’. The azalea is normally sold as ‘Maischnee’. Commercially available
